"This is the soundtrack" by Tana is a collection of soundtracks of yet to be shot short movies. The listener is invited on a journey where the hero goes from place to place. As the sounds invite us we follow them into dark places deep underground where bursting bubbles of synths surprise us with their singing and make us dance with them. Sometimes the change of scenery is subtle, sometimes we get thrown around, going through violently different emotional states like teenagers.

The wild variety of reinterpreted genres is the material the sculptor works on, and the guiding principle is clear: it is energy and how it is transmitted, how it changes. It sometimes feels like forces about to be unleashed, like nature just before spring, and then it becomes that impulse that gives life to objects and runs between them like a fluid.
With touches of IDM, 80s synth pop with dramatic melodies, metal, jazzy drums, progressive rock, akousmatic music, the album finds its continuity in the never-ending dialogue between two worlds: clean and dirty, synthetic and natural, electroacoustic and melodic/rhythmic. In the end, body and mind are two sides of the same coin. As we accept this duality, we find ourselves closing our eyes, diving into the darkness to shine our light upon an entire world. This is the soundtrack, close your eyes and shoot the movie.
