about

VUR079 2022

Where The Acid Things Are tells the tale of the welcome return of IDM hardware hero Blonie. Sprouting boomy basement beats and twinkling synths with fuzzy feelings, this sophomore album shows how the homeboy has grown since VUR066, while still calling back to the joyful jams on his eponymous debut here in 2019. WTATA conjures a more mature, bittersweet and tender mood of melancholy wonder, brimming with subdued rapture. The Braindance renaissance stays lofted on the gilded wings of our treasured Blonie.

Circuit bent transmissions close out the EP and leave you searching the sky for the next cosmic visitors. If you like what you hear be sure to creep on over to his Bandcamp page where you can find lots more (n= 200 + releases) from the man machine dude!

Blonie over here reminding us all to pause, reflect and experience the tiny moments that can make a simulated human life feel well-lived. Sniff the spliff and savor the Blonie flavor.
