The Duchess of Azathoth is a swirling behemoth of an eerie granular ambient piece, and is the first appearance of Yorkshire Modular Society on Virtual Urban Records.

VUR095 is unique in this catalog in that it goes further down the rabbit hole of beat-less music than most of our releases before.

This slowly-evolving monster clocks in at just over one hour, breathing in and out on a shuddering geologic landscape. Disembodied voices whisper and bellow, all while the ground beneath heaves and groans in response.
